I carry my journal everywhere. I keep it handy. When I have a few minutes I sketch just what happens to be in front of me. While in the car waiting for a friend I use the time to sketch. I'll pull out my journal and sketch the back of a car or part of the shopping cart.
When I get home in private I'll add some journaling words around the sketch. If they are private, I keep them private. If there is nothing revealing, I might blog them here for any to see for inspiration.
As I have time I'll add some watercolor via pencils or paint.
Now I have a permanent record in words and sketch art of a small even in my life.
I treasure these.
